Does Your Website Comply with Google"s Mobile- Friendly 2021 Standard? (study reveals "no" or "not sure" means you"re missing out on 52% of ALL traffic)
I’ve set up and analyzed hundreds of marketing experiments on scores of different attorneys’ websites.
What I’ve discovered is that, often, it’s the smallest and strangest details that make the difference between a client calling you and that same client closing the browser tab and moving on to the next law firm in line.
Because — more often than not — when a potential client makes the decision to engage with your website, learn about you, find out how you can help them, and then call your office, that decision is EMOTIONAL.
In other words, it’s subconscious, made at a gut level.
If William Shakespeare was a marketer, he’d tell you that, when it comes to attracting leads from the Internet, fancy is bred in the heart, not the head.
And, yes, this applies double to your credentials.
You see, there are two kinds of proof. There’s logical, factual, “black and white” truth — i.e., your law school, your accreditations, a straightforward statement of your practice area, number of cases fought, etc.
That stuff helps. But it appeals to the head.
You can make those same credentials many, many times more powerful by presenting them in a way that appeals to your potential client’s heart.
You want them to have a reaction that causes them to sit up straight in their chair, engaging with your firm’s website on an emotional, gut level.
You want them to feel a physical sensation in their chest as they read.
You want them to forget where they are and what they’re doing. You want them to forget about the four or five other attorney websites they opened in other browser tabs. You want them picking up the phone and calling you.
You want them muttering under the breath:
“THIS! He is the guy. He’s the lawyer I need to hire.”
It’s about super-charging your credentials.
And that’s exactly what my latest complimentary 7 Ways to Increase Your Perceived Status report is about. It shows you how you can extract all your most powerful credentials from your track record, and how you can “pimp” them up and pack them with more punch than Mike Tyson.
You might want to read through it. It’s 8 pages. Takes around 12 minutes.
