The movie is pretty damn testosterone-soaked sweet, but this line alone made me fall in love with it. So much that I later went and got the book by Robert A Heinlein that it is based on and also Heinlein’s more famous book – Stranger in a Strange Land.

The book is not much like the movie really, it’s focus is describing a futuristic militaristic society and their differing moral views from today’s society.
In the book, the quote is “C’mon, you sons of bitches! Do you want to live forever?” and is attributed to World War I US Marine Dan Daly, just before he led a charge against German forces.
Daly later confirmed what he had actually said was “For Christ’s sake men—come on! Do you want to live forever?”
